Vessel SUPERINTENDENT

  • To assist the Operation Team Lead in all aspects of the operations management function of Sealink.
  • Act as focal person on the operational link between Vessels, Marine Coordinator and Operational Matters with Client
  • Supervise Marine Coordinators, ensuring compliance with company and client standards.
  • Monitor vessel movements, fuel consumption, and overall voyage performance.
  • Coordinate and support dry docking, major repairs, and emergency technical attendances in collaboration with the Technical Department.
  • To liaise with other departments and co-ordinate all port activities so that they are carried out in an efficient and cost effective manner.
  • Ensure vessel readiness for all internal and external inspections, audits, and regulatory compliance in accordance with statutory requirements, company standards, and charter party terms.
  • Assist with investigations, client communications, and vessel operational reviews.
  • Travel as needed for inspections, dry dockings, or client/site meetings.
  • Preferably ex-Senior Officer or Engineer with a offshore support vessel background.

  • Familiar with mechanical systems commonly found on offshore vessels.
  • Preferably Sarawakian.
