- Acquired the first vessel, Majulah 1

- Invested in a shipyard in Krokop Road, Miri, Sarawak, through the acquisition of a strategic stake in SSSB
- Production capacity of 1 vessel per year.

1999 |
- First vessel purchased by the chartering division from our Group’s own shipyard – a 48M landing craft named Sealink Victoria.

2003 |
- Acquired 7 new vessels of mostly tugs and barges
- Acquired industrial land in Kuala Baram (11.7 hectares) for future expansion
- Acquired industrial land adjacent to our Shipyard at Krokop Road to increase production capacity

2004 |
- Increased fleet size to 22 vessels with the acquisition of 11 vessels, including tugs, barges, landing crafts and multi-purpose vessels.

2005 |
- Began construction of our Group’s second shipyard at Kuala Baram.
- SSB became International Safety Management (ISM) certified by the Marine Department Malaysia

2006 |
- First few vessels obtained Safety Management Certificate (SMC) namely Sealink Victoria 3 and Sealink Victoria 4
- HSE department was setup to meet the stringent Health & Safety Management Standards of our Group’s charterers
- First vessel constructed at Kuala Baram yard and sold to our chartering division
- 6 vessel delivered during the year
- SESSB obtained pioneer status for shipbuilding and ship repair

- Sealink Vanessa 4, Sealink Vanessa 6, Victoria 2, Seagood Victoria 6 & Sealink Maju 21 obtained SMC
- 7 vessels delivered during the year
- Zero Lost Time Injury (LTI) for our fleet of vessels for the year

- Admission to the main board of Bursa securities
